Make a Difference

The Pollinator Paradise Project invites your business group to create a “native-plant” garden and join residents and volunteer groups in building an uninterrupted Pollinator Corridor across our city.
Collective action means greater impact. Since pollinators can thrive in small spaces, habitats that are three square metres or larger provide benefits. Homeowners and renters, schools and faith groups that have property, ward councillors and adopt-a-park groups in public parks are all helping to increase the resiliency of Hamilton's biodiversity. Business, institutions, corporations and industry groups are also getting on board to help with this important conservation issue including partners like Terrapure Environmental and the Hamilton Port Authority.

Be part of something bigger

By participating in the community building of the Hamilton Pollinator Corridor and planting habitat, your business will receive significant recognition for contributing to a critical global conservation issue through our Pollinator Certification Program. Certification includes signage and inclusion on our map, media and social media recognition, and your logo prominently displayed on our websites.
Our services include site preparation, garden design, plant selection and planting, initial maintenance, potential maintenance, training for staff and volunteers as well as charitable receipts or receipts to write off landscape and management costs.

For more information, please contact Jen Baker, Coordinator at land@hamiltonnature.org or call 905 549 0900.
