Captain Cornelius ParkA forest edge planting to complement the restoration work being conducted inside the forest. Established in 2020. Hess Street Elementary SchoolA burst of nature in the paved urban jungle. Established in 2015 with the assistance of students and staff from Hess Street Elementary School. McQuesten Urban FarmBordering the fields of McQuesten Urban Farm you will find 1500 square meters of native pollinator habitat. Victoria ParkA well-maintained native plant garden with paths to explore the plants and pollinators. Established in 2015 with the help of community members. |
City Hall (Hamilton)A small boulevard garden packed full of native perennial species. Created in 2016 & underwent a makeover in 2020. Land's InletLand's Inlet has experienced an amazing transformation from a barren, bulldozed landscape in 2006 to the thriving naturalized site today. York Blvd Parkette #2A mix of full sun, partial sun, and shade gardens in raised beds with a large mural backdrop. Established in 2015, with new beds added in subsequent years. York Blvd Parkette #4 (Traffic Circle)Contained within the traffic circle, this little part sun garden provides a pop of colour underneath the trees. |
